The Palestinian Information Technology Association – PITA is implementing E-Governance in Palestine and the MENA region in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ.

Project Objectives/ Description:

The objective of this project is to promote citizen-centred, innovative and inclusive digital transformation of Palestinian municipalities and cooperatives by tapping into opportunities for citizen participation and members of the community in solving issues impacting food security, municipal and communal quality of life.

By accomplishing the following:

• Recruitment of participants and mapping of municipal problems and citizen municipal concerns,
• Implementation of the participation measures which will tackle the mapped municipal problems
• implementing and piloting the solutions resulting from the participation measures and implementing and piloting the solutions resulting from the participation measures.
