Tech-Savvy program is established by Palestine Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA) & Jerusalem High-Tech Foundry (JHF), and funded by Finance 4 Jobs for Consulting Services (F4J).
About the Program
Tech-Savvy is a flexible and customized career accelerating program aiming to support unemployed Palestinian IT graduates to get jobs by upskilling to better meet the need of local and international job requirements.
The program consists of job-specific soft and technical skills training, internships & job placement and mentoring services to be later hired in entry or mid-level tech roles.
The program model focuses on building new modality of learning to facilitate a stronger linkage between the curriculum taught in universities, and the needs of the workplace, in addition, the model is flexible to respond to the needs of technology companies, since each IT job type has its own specificity. Therefore, technical training is designed to be flexible in topics covered, training approach, and durations that range from 80 to 240 hours in 3 categories, short, medium and long.
Technical IT topics would be developed based on the requirement to fill jobs in demand by the industry in emerging tech areas, such as Full-Stack, Data Science, AI, Database, C sharp, Design Pattern, Flutter Web Development, Gamming, Linux and DevOps, Python, Liveops, Package Cloud, CRM programming, information security, function specialist.
The program model provides value added to ICT companies, where they will be involved during the design and implementation stages.
