Monday, 16 Jan, 2023 - PITA's board of directors, headed by its chairman, Mr. Tamer Baransi, met with a delegation from USAID composed of Mrs. Amy Tohil Stull, USAID mission director, Jessica Zaman, USAID deputy mission director, and Mr. Fadi Abedllatif, Senior Advisor and Economic Growth and Infrastructure Team Leader.

This meeting came as a follow up on the status of the Palestinian ICT sector, and to discuss the challenges it faces. In addition to discussing possible methods of cooperation between USAID and PITA. With the aim of enhancing the ICT business enabling environment and furthering the sector's ability to contribute to the development of the Palestinian economy and the advancement of an export-oriented strategy.
