Citizens’ Innovation Participation

The Palestinian Information Technology Association – PITA is implementing the Innovation citizen Participation in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ.

 

About the project

This project aims to achieving several goals; including developing technological services in the municipalities of Palestine by developing the practical capabilities of professionals in the technology sector and young people from the community, and facilitating public interaction and access to municipal technical services in Palestine through developing and launching a group of technical services, which are designed with the help of professionals from the sector.

The project will work in cooperation with the municipalities to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of the local challenges in the targeted municipalities. The Union will work in cooperation with the municipality to develop technological solutions, support municipal services and share them with the public, and activate the municipality’s role in providing its various services to the public. It will also implement training to strengthen practical capabilities, in addition to Support the municipality in promoting these solutions to the public.
