PITA in cooperation with the USAID “Building Regional Economic Bridges” (BREB) project, have implemented the first high tech meetup – the first of a series of exchanges to bring together young Palestinian technology professionals and international companies that PITA and BREB will organize.
PITA’s member companies specialized in software and outsourcing, hardware, telecom and ISPs, training and consultancy participated in the meeting, along with several programmers and engineers. The meeting, held in the Plaza Hotel in Ramallah, also included digital participation from PITA’s members and professionals at the Phoenix hotel in Gaza
The keynote speaker and the facilitator of the meetup was Mr. Marwan Jaber; Product Owner at the SAP Company’s CFS Center of Excellence. Mr. Marwan is specialized in cloud-native development and engineering excellence, and has a strong track record in the industry of Information Technology.
During this dynamic tech-meetup; Mr. Marwan emphasized issues related to "Software Resilience”, and shared his insights and expertise with the attendees on achieving high customer satisfaction with the resilient cloud-native development approach implemented by SAP's cloud foundation services.
The meetups are in line with PITA’s approach and purpose to contribute in promoting exchanges on the latest topics within the ICT industry, reviewing the companies’ organization, and helping in knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices that can be utilized within the Palestinian ICT arena.
